Our programme of guided walks starts as usual on Wednesday 4 May, every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon starting at 2pm from Holman Way car park. However, this year we are organising two additional walks to take place on Wednesday 27 and Saturday 30 April to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the railway line from Exeter to Exmouth. These walks will focus on the impact of the arrival of steam on transport in and around Topsham, including the economic as well as the logistical issues. They start, as usual, at Holman Way at 2pm

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 23 June and notices will be distributed to members with the Spring Newsletter. In anticipation of the AGM, we would welcome volunteers who would be interested in joining our committee. For those hoping for details about our annual outing, please be patient. The outing will take place in the autumn as last year and details will be available later in the year.
